Money Manifesting 101
Let’s keep it short: ASK FOR MORE OF WHAT YOU HAVE.
So often we feel the need to ask for what we don’t have. It’s our orientation toward scarcity and attachment to how we think we need to solve our lack that can actually keep us from getting what we need. Let me explain with a few examples:
An artist with a toddler needs to make their art. Instead of asking for a babysitter, the artist says “I want more time to be creative and make my art. How can you help me do that?” Someone may offer a babysitter, some may offer to go grocery shopping for them. A different person may offer to mow the lawn. You get the idea.
An entrepreneur needs $2,000 for a piece of equipment that would save them SO much time. Instead of asking people for $2,000, they might say “I want to get to my goal of proving THIS SERVICE sooner. In order to do that, this piece of equipment would speed up the process by months! Who can help me figure out how to get my services available faster?” What the entrepreneur has is services. They want to get their services out there faster, not just $2k. Who knows, maybe someone will offer a grant they just found, buy it for them, or help them fundraise. Either way, the entrepreneur is not alone and opens themselves to creative ways to get there goodies out there!
A tech innovator left the field with millions. They want a purpose again. Instead of asking “what should I do with my life” they might say “I have so much to give. Which causes do you see matching my values that I could invest myself, my talents, or my money in?”
Let go of the “how”
When we try to control the “how” of getting what we want, we actually narrow our options. Shifting focus to what we already have, and asking for more of it, opens up more possibilities. It also gives the people around us more ways to recognize and respond to what we actually need.
Bonus: You learn what others actually value in you. If someone doesn’t see you as an artist, they won’t naturally think to support your creative work. You might have assumed their support was there when it wasn’t.
Abundance-first asking shows you who wants to support you naturally and who doesn’t. Wouldn’t you rather be supported by people who want to rather than people who might feel obligated or are averse to supporting you?
Now obviously, sometimes asking directly for what you need is crucial, especially in a crisis. The fun news is that we’re not in as many crises as we might think — yes even in these oppressive times.
Give it a try and tell me what happens for you!
Here’s a personal example:
I LOVE writing and teaching. I’ve been working on Wealth Consciousness Workbooks. How can you help me make them real and see them open on your desk, ready for your pen?
Paid Subscriptions go toward funding 1:1 Wealth Consciousness Coaching for underserved clients. You could be the reason your favorite restaurant lasts for decades instead of 3 years or a cycle-breaker busts out of poverty.
Give a little, get a lot. That’s how regenerative business works.

So hard for me to forget about the “why” … why is that?
